We had to take yet another train to reach our next destination... Goa!
Finally some time to relax and enjoy the beach (unless you are me and hate the heat and think the ocean is disgusting! Haha)
Even though it was hot I did manage to enjoy my time in Goa
We quickly went to the beach to look at the sunset.
Some people decided to go swimming, I decided to go on a walk with Jenna and explore the Indian beach. While walking we found all kinds of stuff coming out of the ocean so we decided to start a list of things that are in an Indian beach: banana peels, flip flops, rusty nails, snack wrappers, plastic bags, plastic bottles, medecine bottles, lots of caps, wooden pieces etc.
The whole beach experience was something completely different to what I'm used to. There were masses of people, most of the women were fully clothed in pants and shirts or even swimming with a full saree on! On the other hand some Indian men were wearing speedos and seemed as if the dressing rules don't apply to them!
While we walk around the beach we got a lot of stares and people taking pictures of us.
Another interesting thing was that the beach was somehow divided by sections of Indians and then a touristy section where the number of Indians decreased and the beach was clear.
Here's the group
And we got to see a beautiful sunset
I loved taking pictures of Nadine and Martin <3
Goa is well known as a party town so we of course had to party!
We started the night with amazing drinks at Cafe del Mar ( food wasn't as good as the drinks)
Then we moved on to the "Pit Stop" where we danced the night away
The last night in Goa we had our goodbye dinner where Aura gave a speech!
